About Savitri Bess

Savitri L. Bess is a transpersonal therapist, workshop facilitator, and fiber artist who has been awarded Fulbright and NEA grants. She has lived most of her adult life in Hindu Monastic settings, most recently at Ammachi's ashram in India for several months a year, from 1993-2003. Savitri now resides in Southwest Harbor, Maine, where she teaches workshops, meditation classes, and writes.
