Our very popular cozy wool shawls are hand loomed by Tibetans in Nepal from the finest New Zealand sheep wool.

After the the weaving process the wool blankets and shawls are brushed to bring out their incredible softness.

Available in 17 rich solid colors, these are perfect for meditation, for snuggling up with a good book, and for wearing as a fashion accessory.

These luxurious wool shawls are 34" x 75" and have knotted tassles at each end. They are hand-washable.

About the women who hand-loom them.

These wool shawls and blankets are made in Nepal of New Zealand wool. They are woven by women who live up to 10,000 ft high in the mountains.

It is a cottage industry where the women get fed and housed for free. Some of them also receive education.

This is an original design, made of natural fibers, using traditional techniques. This handmade item was created and imported under Fair Trade conditions. Your purchase directly helps support the livelihoods of artisans, craftspeople and their families in remote villages as well as in urban settings.
