Understanding your chakras is very important as a way to complete freedom, self-knowledge, and well-being on every level, physical, mental, emotional, and especially spiritual.
Although this workbook was first created as an aid to the author's Chakras Workshops, it has come to stand alone as an excellent guide for those who want to understand what the chakras actually are and how important they are in terms of one's journey through life.
All of the information in the workbook is based on the teachings of the great master of yoga, Paramhansa Yogananda and his direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda. The workbook guides you through basic information about the chakras, their locations and functions, and then further into deeper or more esoteric aspects including psychological functions, astrological implication, colors, shapes, tastes, gemstones, and much more.
There are sections on chakras healing, on how to experience them through affirmation, chanting, and visualization, and on other specific exercises for awakening the chakras, including specific yoga stretches for each chakra. The book closes with a "page-per-chakra" journal writing suggestions.
It would be difficult to find a more complete look at the chakras, including experiential and interactive ways to work with the ever-fascinating subject of the chakras.
