This large, rectangular comfortable mat provides a solid base for meditation. Other sitting cushions such as zafus, zen cubes or cre-zen pillows can be used on top, or it can be used alone. It cushions ankles and knees and helps protect them from falling asleep or injury. It folds in half and has two straps for easy carrying.
The two inch padding consists of two layers of 100% cotton batting, and two layers of poly foam. This prevents lumping and movement of the padding and adds durability. It is covered with 100% raw silk noil.
Matching cushions are available and fit inside the zabuton when carried like a tote.
