What Others are Saying:

Little Yogis Fun Exercise Award Review
Reviewer: Film Advisory Board, October 2005

Fun Exercise has great style for gaining a child’s interest in exercise. Their natural curiosity and joy of mimicking what they see make this book a wonderful educational tool. Poses that simulate stretching like an animal, hovering like a butterfly, moving like a bird, weaving like a cobra, roaring like a lion, being a warrior, standing tall as a tree, a mountain, and other exercises children will love to do are captivating.

Little Yogis Fun Exercise is a colorful, entertaining book that challenges observation, gives meaning to words, and guides children through exercise poses that they will love to perform. This beautiful book will hold a child’s attention and instill good habits for life.

Reviewers Comments

What are the most positive characteristics of this book?
• This is a great book. It has great, bright colored illustrations. My son loved reading it and practicing the yoga. I even saw him in his room one night doing it by himself!

• It has very attractive illustrations. The postures involved in this book are very basic and they are presented in a fun creative manner. My children both enjoyed this book.

• We loved the fact that it was not necessarily a book with a plot. We could pick and choose what we wanted to do for the day.

Wai Lana’s Little Yogis Fun Exercise
Reviewer: New Age Retailer, Trade Show Issue – 2005

Parents, librarians, and schoolteachers who want to teach children how to look after their physical health will find Wai Lana’s Little Yogis Fun Exercise a terrific yoga workbook–or, shall I say, playbook. Children receive 64 pages of entertaining, lighthearted instructions for performing classical yoga exercises. For the tree pose, children are told, “Now grow your branches up to the sky.” In the cat and dog stretch, they are instructed, “Now lift your head and your tail like a happy pup. Wag your tail and bark!” Each step of the exercises is illustrated with a bright, energizing image of a happy smiling child. Recommend this colorful 11.5-by-8.25-inch book highly.
