Description:
This choral music video takes you on a journey through the life of Jesus Christ that will leave you uplifted and transformed. While visiting the Holy Land in 1983, Donald Walters experienced the deep inspiration of Christ as a living presence.
To capture that experience and share it with the world, Walters composed the Oratorio, Christ Lives, considered by many to be a contemporary masterpiece. As music alone can do, the Oratorio reaches the soul with both the message and spirit of Christ’s life, his call to all seekers to awaken the Divine within.
The video Christ Lives is a photo-montage that interweaves a complete performance of the Oratorio by the World Brotherhood Choir, with scenes from Christ’s life in the Holy Land and slides of the great works of art his life has inspired.
The World Brotherhood Choir has won numerous musical awards including the Adelaide Ristori Award, the Presidential Cup, and First Prize in the National Festival of World Peace. In 1989 they sang for Pope John-Paul II at the Vatican.
