Namasmarana is a spiritual exercise which is simple, sustaining and universally acceptable. The Name by which each person invokes the one God may be in any language; it may posit any type of relationship with God - Son,Servant, Subject, Companion; it may enshrine any one or more of the infinite attributes and achievements of God. In every case, the Name is the sign and signal, the casket that enshrines the Beauty and the Benevolence of the Almighty, the Glory and the Grace of Providence, the Majesty and Mystery of God. When it is recited or remembered with each breath, it provides divine oxygen to strengthen and sanctify our lives.
