About Ram Smith

Robert "Ram" Smith has been an Ananda yoga and meditation instructor for over 30 years. Ram is an ordained minister and has taught internationally in India, Italy, Germany, Nigeria, South Africa, Australia, and throughout the United States.

Prior to his yoga experience, Ram played linebacker on the University of California, Berkeley's 1975 championship football team and tried out for the San Francisco 49ers. A former massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, Ram understands how to move the energy of his audience into a wonderful place of healing. He incorporates group singing and chanting during his presentations and has six musical Cds to his credit.
